01、work from home

work from home 是指像有工作单位的，正常情况下是需要去公司办公室办公的，不得已的情况下在家里工作。比如现在成都疫情期间全城管制下，好多朋友们虽然在公司企业事业单位上班，但是可能就只能呆在家办公了。

来看一下 work from home 的解释：

You do work for someone from your home; your work is still centered around the workplace, but you are completing it remotely.

简单说，你是为别人、为公司工作，只不过工作地点在家里而已。

02、work at home

而 work at home 则是指没有公司的自由职业者，自己在家办公。

work at home：You got a personal task to be completed (maybe, cleaning the house) at home；you were self-employed (so your workplace is your home) or where the work was actually centered at home for some reason (for instance if your job was assembling something and you took it home and assembled it there instead).

说白了，给别人打工的人远程办公，是 work from home ，自由职业者在家办公就是work at home 。

例句：

①That freelancer works at home.

那个自由职业者在家工作。

②I had to work from home because of the COVID-19.

因为这次的新型冠状病毒，我不得不在家办公。

还有一个比较专业的词汇：telecommuting ：working from home using equipment such as telephones, fax machines, and modems to contact people. 家庭远程办公。

它跟 work from home 是一样的，只不过 telecommuting 比较书面化。

03、居家旅游

社交媒体上也出现了各种“居家旅游、宅度假”，这该怎么说呢？可以用 have a staycation 来表示。

例句：

Since I can't go out due to the outbreak of the COVID-19, I only have a staycation this month.

因为不能出去，这个假期我也就只能居家旅游了。
