昆明机遇之城（昆明Life千年昆明城）

昆明，一座中国历史文化名城。

Kunming, is a famous historical and cultural city of China.

战国，两千多年前，楚国大将庄蹻率军来到滇池地区。

In the Warring States period, more than two thousand years ago, the army of the great Zhuangqiao general of the Chu state, came to the Yunnan area.

由于后路被秦军切断，于是在此安营自立为王，建立滇池周围的第一座城郭，即是“庄蹻故城”。

As the back road was cut off by the Qin army, he was here to stand on his own and set up the first city around Dianchi, that is "Zhuangqiao anciant town ".

公元765年，南诏国国王阁罗凤命其长子凤伽异在今昆明市区内筑拓东城，成为南诏的副都，是为有准确史料可查的今日昆明建城之始。

In 765, the king of Nanzhao, asked his son to build the city on the territory of modern Kunming. It became the capital of Nanzhao. It was the beginning of construction of todays Kunming.

东寺塔西寺塔，

遥相而对

Eastern and western

pagoda towers, remote phase

位于书林街的这两座古塔，最初就建于南诏王国时期，是昆明现存最早的古建筑之一。

Two ancient pagodas on ShuLin Street, originally built in the kingdom of Nanzhao, are one of the oldest existing buildings in Kunming.

“天际孤城烟外暗，云间双塔日边明”，这是元代李京曾经写下的诗句，说的就是它们。

"Dark smoke in the lonely sky, and the Twin pagoda towers are on the edge of the clouds." This is the poem written by Li Jing during the Yuan Dynasty.

双塔形制与大理三塔中的主塔相仿，塔身优雅秀丽又不失庄严，虽历经风风雨雨，但多次修葺之后，仍保留了当初的建筑制式。立于塔下，仰首而望，千年之前的古风似乎扑面而来。

The shape of the Twin pagodas is similar to the main tower of Dali. Pagodas are elegant. Although it has gone through the wind and rain, the original construction style is still retained after many repairs.

钱王街，

因“钱王”而名

QianWang street, named to the honor of "money king"

钱王街位于正义路与文庙直街之间，属于昆明老街片区。

QianWang street is located between ZhengYi road and Confucious'temple. It belongs to the old streets of Kunming.

这里在清末、民国时期是昆明的商业、金融重地，商号、票号、钱庄云集，可谓富贵宝地，如今还保留有钱王票号-同庆丰、马家大院、小银柜巷等古色古香青砖黛瓦的老宅大院。

During the Qing Dynasty and Republic of China, here is the commercial and financial district of Kunming. Till now still keeps its features –, Ma's family courtyard, small silver lane and other antique ancient yards.

来这里走上一走，宛如时光倒流。

While walking here, you can turn time back.

说起钱王街，还有一段典故：票号“同庆丰”的主人云南弥勒人王炽，是清末的一品红顶商人。

When speaking about QianWang street, there is also a part of allusions: the owner of the exchange shop " Qingfeng’s old house ", was from Mile, was the businessman during the late Qing Dynasty.

盛极一时，民间称其为“钱王”，这也是钱王街之名的由来。

In his best days, people called him "money king", and it became the origin of the street’s name.

圆通寺，

螺峰拥翠

圆通寺坐落于圆通山南，建寺已有1200多年历史。

Yuantong Temple is located in the south of Yuantong mountain. The temple has been built for more than 1200 years ago.

坊表壮丽，林木苍翠，如同一座优美的江南水乡园林。寺借背后螺峰山之景，被誉为“螺峰拥翠”、“螺峰叠翠”，为昆明八景之一。

The square is magnificent, and the forest is green. It is like a beautiful garden in the south of the Yangtze River. The temple is known as the " Snail peak in green", to the honor to this southern garden. It is one of the eight garnd scenes of Kunming.

踏入寺门，一路前行，两旁金瓦琉璃，佛相庄严，让人不由心生敬畏虔诚之情。

Step into the temple’s gate, all along the way, both sides of road are in gold. Solemn Buddha, make people feel reverence in their hearts.

滇池国际会展中心，

孔雀开屏

Dianchi International Exhibition Center, peacock in its pride

继往开来，昆明人在对过往成就骄傲的同时，并未止步于前，滇池国际会展中心就是今朝昆明的一大力作。

Kunming people are proud of their past achievements, but at the same time they have never stopped. Dianchi International Exhibition Center is a major effort of todays Kunming.

长水机场，

大鹏展翅

ChangShui airport, a great hawk spreads its wings

作为旅游大省，昆明长水机场每天都承载着无数游客的希望而来、满意而去。

As a major tourist province, Kunming Changshui airport is loaded with countless tourists every day.

机场是国家“十一五”期间唯一批准建设的大型门户枢纽机场。

The airport is the only large portal hub airport approved by the country during the "11th Five-Year".

造型宛如大鹏展翅，又颇具云南地方建筑的特色风情，灵动优美。

The shape of the airport is like the wings of the ROC. It also has the characteristics of Yunnan local architecture.

而近期长水机场的扩建工程规模之大，将相当于“再造一个机场”，有望跻身全球十大机场之列。

The large scale of the extension project of the long water airport will be equivalent to "reconstructing an airport", which is expected to be ranked among the ten major airports in the world.

继2016年底沪昆高铁开通以来，昆明又迈入高铁时代，与越来越多的城市互通互连。

Following the opening of Shanghai-Kunming high-speed rails at the end of 2016, Kunming has entered the high-speed railway era and now connecting with more and more cities.

未来，泛亚铁路的建成将逐步构建衔接东南亚、南亚的西南国际运输走廊，使昆明摇身一变成为一个国际性的综合交通枢纽。

In the future, will gradually build up the south-west international transport corridor linking Southeast Asia and South Asia, making Kunming an international comprehensive transportation hub.
