当地时间23日的白宫记者会上,美国国土安全部官员表示,据最新研究结果,新冠病毒在强光高温条件下,存活率会大幅降低;部分消毒液成分对杀死新冠病毒有较明显效果。

随后,美国总统特朗普抓住其中“重点”,提出了一些“惊人”的治疗建议,其中包括注射消毒液杀病毒↓↓↓

他说:“我注意到消毒液在一分钟内就消灭病毒,仅用一分钟。有没有办法给身体内注射消毒液,让它进入肺部清洁,这种方法应该值得一试。”

"And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. ”

他还当场让白宫疫情应对协调员Deborah Birx博士向医生咨询:“你会让医生去测试一下这种方法,对吧 ?对我来说,这听起来很有趣。”

据美国全国广播公司(NBC)报道,包括肺脏学家、全球健康政策专家Vin Gupta博士在内的多位医疗专家,对特朗普这一“不合适的健康信息”提出了质疑。

Medical professionals, including Dr. Vin Gupta, a pulmonologist, global health policy expert, were quick to challenge the president's "improper health messaging."

“This notion of injecting or ingesting any type of cleansing product into the body is irresponsible and it’s dangerous," said Gupta. "It’s a common method that people utilize when they want to kill themselves."

家用消毒剂生产商利洁时公司在声明中提醒消费者,不管在何种情况下,都不要将该公司产品通过注射、口服或其他方式摄入体内。

"As a global leader in health and hygiene products, we must be clear that under no circumstance should our disinfectant products be administered into the human body (through injection, ingestion or any other route)," a spokesperson for Reckitt Benckiser, the United Kingdom-based owner of Lysol, said in a statement to NBC News.

特朗普改口:注射消毒液是为讽刺记者

24日,特朗普在白宫回应记者提问时改口称,前一天有关“注射消毒液治新冠肺炎”的讲话只是表达讽刺,并不是要推荐美国人注射消毒液,“我不是医生,人们应该咨询医生。”

But it does kill it and it would kill it on the hands, and it would make things much better."

前世卫组织官员高斯廷说,特朗普之前推荐抗疟疾的药物来治疗新冠肺炎,国家卫生研究所已经表示那是有害的,现在特朗普又提出紫外线照射、注射消毒液等如此危险的建议。

从科学常识来看,那是很危险的。如果大肆宣扬一些有风险的言论,民众有可能会为此付出生命代价。

民众误用化学品求助电话大增

《纽约时报》称,总统在周四发表评论后,网上对清洁产品的搜索量激增,包括洗衣液。

当地时间25日,美国伊利诺伊州公共卫生部门负责人埃奇克表示,过去两天,该州有毒物质控制中心接到关于误服消毒剂的咨询电话大幅上升,例如有人用洗涤剂溶液冲洗鼻腔,还有人混合漂白剂和漱口水用来漱口。埃奇克警告民众:“注射、摄入和吸食家用清洁剂是危险的,这样做可能致命。”

当地时间25日,据美国公共广播电台(NPR)报道,纽约市毒物控制局接到接触某些家用化学品的求助电话较去年同期多了一倍。数据显示,在特朗普发表言论后18小时内,纽约市接到了30通相关电话,其中9例关于消毒剂,10例关于漂白剂,11例为其他家用清洁剂。在去年同一个窗口期,该中心仅接到13例电话,其中2起关于漂白剂,但没有一例与相关消毒剂有关。

The city's Department of Health and Mental Hygiene said that in an 18-hour period ending at 3 p.m. Friday, the poison control center recorded 30 cases. These included nine "specifically about exposure to Lysol, 10 cases specifically about bleach and 11 cases about exposures to other household cleaners," department spokesperson Pedro F. Frisneda tells NPR. That compares to only 13 cases for the same time frame one year ago.

约翰森指出,关于消毒液的主意,不仅仅是一句蠢话,更体现出就算在疫情响应最基本的问题上,特朗普都缺乏认知。

这是个非常基本的问题。而特朗普混乱的回答凸显出他到底有多游离世外,他到现在仍然没有任何现实的防控和复苏经济的计划。

That's a pretty basic question. And Trump’s confused answer underlines the extent to which he is still, even now, disengaged from any real planning to control the pandemic and revive the economy.
