Once there was a Bluebird who liked to brag.
从前有只蓝知更鸟喜欢吹牛。
He looked at the sky,he looked at his wings,and he smiled.
他望着天空，望着翅膀，微笑着。
“How fine I look!”thought the bluebird.
“我看起来真好！“蓝鸟想。
“I am as blue as the sky!”
“我和天空一样蓝！”
The bluebird flew high and low in the blue sky.
蓝知更鸟在蓝天上飞来飞去。
The bluebird saw a mouse.
蓝鸟看见一只老鼠。
“Hello!” said the bluebird to the mouse.
“你好！蓝知更鸟对老鼠说。
“It is a beautiful day,isn't it?”
“今天天气真好，不是吗？”
“Yes, it is a beautiful day,”said the mouse.
“是的，这是一个美丽的日子，”老鼠说。
“The sky is a beautiful blue.”
“天空是美丽的蓝色。”
“I am blue, too,”said the bluebird.
“我也是蓝色的，”蓝知更鸟说。
“I am beautiful,like the blue sky.”
“我很美，就像蓝天一样。”
“Oh,” sighed the mouse.
“哦，”老鼠叹了口气。
“I am not blue. I am gray.
“我不是蓝色的。我是灰色的。
I am not the color of the sky.”
我不是天空的颜色。”
The bluebird laughed and flew away.
蓝鸟笑着飞走了。
The bluebird saw a flamingo.
蓝鸟看见一只火烈鸟。
“Hello!” said the bluebird.
“你好！“蓝鸟说。
“It is a beautiful day,isn't it?”
“今天天气真好，不是吗？”
“Yes,” said the flamingo.
“是的，”火烈鸟说。
“It is a fine and sunny day.”
“今天天气晴朗。”
“Look at the beautiful blue sky,”said the bluebird.
“看看美丽的蓝天，”蓝知更鸟说。
“I am blue, like the sky.”
“我是蓝色的，像天空一样。”
“I am pink,” said the flamingo.
“我是粉红色的，”火烈鸟说。
“Blue is better than pink,”bragged the bluebird.
“蓝色总比粉色好，”蓝知更鸟吹嘘道。
“Blue is the color of the sky!”
“蓝色是天空的颜色！”
“Oh,” said the flamingo.
“哦，”火烈鸟说。
“I am not the color of the sky.”
“我不是天空的颜色。”
The flamingo was angry.
火烈鸟很生气。
He flew away without saying good-bye.
他不说再见就飞走了。
The bluebird looked up.
蓝鸟抬起头来。
He saw a blackbird at the top of a tree.
他看见一只黑鸟在树顶上。
“Hello!” said the bluebird.
“你好！“蓝鸟说。
“It is a beautiful day, isn't it?”
“今天天气真好，不是吗？”
“Yes it is,” said the blackbird.
“是的，”黑鸟说。
“I am blue,like the sky,”said the bluebird.
“我是蓝色的，就像天空一样，”蓝知更鸟说。
“I am not blue,” said the blackbird.
“我不是蓝色的，”黑鸟说。
“I am black.”
“我是黑人。”
“Blue is better than black,”bragged the bluebird.
“蓝色总比黑色好，”蓝知更鸟吹嘘道。
“Blue is the color of the sky.”
“蓝色是天空的颜色。”
