3月24日，中国国务院新闻办公室发布《2020年美国侵犯人权报告》。这份报告揭露了美国近年来对人权的肆意侵犯和对国际法的公然践踏。

报告指出，美国应对疫情任意妄为造成失控，美国人口不足世界总人口的5%，但截至2月底，其新冠肺炎死亡病例数却占全球总数的近20%。但就连本国国民生命安全都无法提供足够保障时，却依然以“人权卫士”自居，对他国内政指手划脚。

On March 24, China's State Council Information Office released its "Report on Human Rights Violations in the United States in 2020," recording America's wanton violations of human rights and blatant disregard of international law.

The report notes that the haphazard and incompetent response of the U.S. to the COVID-19 pandemic has led to a humanitarian disaster. With less than five percent of the world's population, it had nearly 20 percent of the worldwide COVID-19 death toll by the end of February.

Although it cannot provide adequate protection for its own citizens, it's still touting itself as a global human rights defender and interfering in other countries' internal affairs.
