关于圆的数学定理（用英文学几何-）
有海外留学计划的同学，无论是大学出去读还是中小学就出去读，提前学习一下海外的课程对将来留学有很大帮助。其实有些同学已经在同步学习海外相应年级的课程了。我们会用几期内容来讲解一些几何知识，截取一些英文概念，帮助大家适应英文教学内容。
第一期的内容是关于圆的性质和定理，一共有8个，大家先看英文描述，再看中文翻译复习一遍。
Circle Theorem 1
Angles in the same segment and standing on the same chord are always equal.
首先要理解segment的含义，线段可以称为segment，圆上切下一块也叫segment。圆上同弦且位于同一侧的圆周角度数总是相等的。
Circle Theorem 2
The angle in the semi-circle is always 90°.
半圆上的圆周角总是90度。
Circle Theorem 3
A line drawn from the centre of a circle to the mid-point of a chord is perpendicular to the chord.
从圆心到弦的中点的直线垂直于该弦。mid-point意思是中点，perpendicular to是垂直的意思，chord是圆的弦。
Circle Theorem 4
tangents from a common point to a circle are always equal in length.
从一点到圆的切线，该点到切点的两个线段长度总是相等的。tangent是切线。
Circle Theorem 5
The angle at the centre of a circle is twice the angle at the circumference.
圆心角是圆周角的两倍。circumference是指圆周。
Circle Theorem 6
ABCD is a cyclic quadrilateral, all vertices lie on the circumference of the circle. Diagonally opposite angles add up to 180°.
cyclic quadrilateral是指四个点都在圆上的四边形，diagonally opposite angles是指对角线方向相对的2个角，对角之和是180°。
Circle Theorem 7
The angle between the tangent and the radius is always 90°.
切线和半径的夹角总是90°。
Circle Theorem 8
The angle between the tangent and the side of the triangle is equal to the interior opposite angle.
（三角形外接圆），切线与三角形一边的夹角等于内部对侧的角。
